Services offered and why.

My name is Dr. Ronald Warner, and I am excited to share with you the incredible journey that led me to become a Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinical Nutrition specialist. As I transitioned out of the US Army, where I served as an aviator, I found myself contemplating the next chapter of my life. Guided by my faith in God, I embarked on a path that ultimately led me to serve others through chiropractic and nutrition.

The idea of becoming a chiropractor first emerged during a road trip to Michigan with my wife. I had always believed in chiropractic care, having been raised in a family that embraced its benefits. In my youth, I had experienced two significant spinal injuries that were successfully treated by chiropractors. This, along with the educational challenge, truly intrigued me.

After much prayer, I began researching chiropractic schools that also focused on nutrition. I applied to two schools and trusted in God's guidance to lead me to the right one. I eventually enrolled at Parker University in Dallas, Texas, feeling confident that this was the path He had intended for me.

During my education, I was introduced to upper cervical chiropractic (UCC) care, which I had never heard of before. As I learned more, I became convinced that UCC was the method through which I could best serve my patients. God seemed to be leaving "breadcrumbs" for me to follow, leading me to an UCC doctor who presented groundbreaking research on lowering blood pressure.

Nutrition also played a significant role in my journey. My mother had battled cancer multiple times, and it was only when she turned to holistic approaches that she found lasting success. I felt a strong desire to integrate nutrition into my practice, and God guided me to a mentor who practiced UCC and nutrition together. Witnessing my family members experience remarkable health improvements under his care only strengthened my conviction.

Two pivotal moments in my life confirmed my dedication to UCC: regaining the hearing in my right ear and my daughter's life being saved through UCC care. These experiences, along with countless other signs from God, solidified my decision to specialize in UCC and nutrition.

Upon completing my training, I embarked on a journey to establish my practice. We faced many obstacles, but through prayer and guidance from our pastor, we eventually found our way to Portage, Michigan. Here, I opened Aligned Care Chiropractic, and the pieces fell into place as if by divine intervention.

I have continued to learn and grow throughout my career, incorporating new techniques and research into my practice. I have been blessed to serve as an instructor and board member of a chiropractic organization, further deepening my knowledge and commitment to the field.

My relationship with God is the most important aspect of my life, and I firmly believe that He has personally guided me to provide the unique services I offer. My mission is to help others achieve better health, both spiritually and physically, and I ask for His hand daily to be in my life, enabling me to serve those who come to me in need. I hope, that through my work, you, too, may experience the blessings of improved health and well-being.

Upper Cervical Chiropractic

Do you dislike snapping, cracking, and popping? Upper cervical alignments provide gentle, highly effective chiropractic care  without any of the twisting and popping generally associated with chiropractic. The adjustment realigns the spine to take the tension out of the area of concern so the body can recover.  This process is inverse to the process that brought you to where you are today.  What you did in the past contributed to the pain and dysfunction you are experiencing presently, let's have a different future.  It takes time to reverse this and retrain the body to hold you straighter and stronger for longer periods of time. Profound effects happen when tension is removed from the spine and the body is allowed to function and heal as it was designed.

There are only a couple doctors in the state that offer this type of chiropractic care where 11 points of posture are analyzed on the anatometer to determine spinal misalignment and posture correction.  Make an appointment today to experience it for yourself.

Still unsure?  Consultations are always free.  We would love to discuss whether Upper Cervical Chiropractic is right for you.

Nutrition Response Testing

We are dedicated to improving an individuals quality of life and believe that the body is much more than just a spine. Other factors besides spinal health contribute to well being.  As part of our holistic approach to wellness we offer nutritional care in the form of nutrition response testing (NRT).

NRT is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes of ill health. This is accomplished by a very precise and scientific 13-Step Nutrition Response Testing muscle testing procedure.  When these organ/areas are identified and then corrected through safe, natural, nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain more optimum health.

Nutritional imbalances will affect the body's ability to maintain alignment.  Therefore, we offer nutritional  support to complement the postural/spinal correction.

Muscle Work

Trigger Points.jpg

This is crazy important.  Many times the upper cervical treatment will relax the muscles and get you out of pain.  Sometimes the muscles will have to be manually encouraged to do the right thing.  This can be done right after the treatment in just a few minutes to specifically address aches and pains you have.

Just for a mental picture- nerve controls muscle which in turn positions the bone.  The upper cervical treatment causes the nervous system to reposition the bone so the muscle doesn't have to work so hard to hold you up against gravity.

Kinesio Taping

Kinesio tape is applied along soft tissue providing an external support that facilitates recovery from injuries.  It works by  allowing muscles to relax while generating proprioceptive neuromuscular feedback that creates stronger firing of muscles and tendons.

Kinesio tape provides relief for up to 5 days through sweat, training and showers.  It is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and can be used for relief of numerous common injuries such as shoulder pain, knee pain, shin splints, tennis elbow, achilles heel and plantar fasciitis.

Massage Therapy

Therapeutic massage, massage for relaxation, lymph clearing and more.  Even though there isn't a massage therapist on site it  can be a great adjunct to chiropractic care.  It;s recommend not having a massage or other body work two days before/after your appointment.  This ensures maximum effectiveness of the spinal alignment.
